Discussion Leader – Bill Sive

Bill Sive is a distinguished LGBTQ+ leader whose advocacy has profoundly shaped Southern California’s LGBTQ+ community. As President of the Gay Elder Circle, he works to create safe, inclusive spaces while bridging social justice, spirituality, and community empowerment. His expertise spans mental health, aging, health disparities, and gender identity, and he has presented widely within the LGBTQ+ community and at major universities. Bill is dedicated to addressing the needs of LGBTQ+ seniors and fostering intergenerational understanding. His advocacy blends direct service, public education, and policy engagement, reflected in his role as Education Ambassador for the National Resource Center on LGBT Aging and his involvement in healthcare and environmental justice initiatives.
