The Church's vigorous campaigning for Prop 8 has all but put a death nail in that coffin. As a devoted Catholic, I too am now questioning my faith. The Catholic Church should be preaching forgiveness and tolerance not bigotry. They whole heartedly embrace the illegal alien issue which certainly breaks the civil law and in fact hurts the population at large in many ways. Allowing gays to marry creates no such burden.
